My work is a response to the pace, transience and potential detachment of modern living. Inspiration comes from the colours, forms and textures found in our environment and central to a sense of place. I experiment with a range of materials and processes to capture elements or fragments in time, with the intent of invoking some sense of connection or belonging. My pieces carry the hand of the maker through stitch, collage, printing and dyeing, sculpting and manipulating fibres. To minimize my impact on the environment I work with natural materials, botanical dyes and inks where practical, up-cycling what I can to reduce waste.

Daw'r ysbrydolaeth o'r lliwiau, ffurfiau a'r cymhlethiadau i'w gweld yn ein amgylchedd ac yn canolbwyntio at ymwybodaeth lle. Defnyddiaf nifer o defnyddiau a gweithrediadau i dala'r elfennau mewn darnau o amser, yn rhoi synwyriadau o cysylltiad a perthynas. Gwelir darn o'r gwneuthurwr trwy gwniad, printio, lliwio, cerflunio, ac mewn trafod y defnydd. Er mwyn lleihau'r ardrawiad i'r amgylchedd, gweithiaf gyda defnydd naturiol, lliwiau ac inciau llysieuol ac ail-defnyddio i lleihau gwastraff.
